7th Australia-New Zealand Climate Change and Business Conference
The 7th Australia-New Zealand Climate Change & Business Conference will be held in Wellington on 1-2 August 2011 with the Wellington City Council as the Foundation Sponsor.
The 7th conference will focus on best practice business responses to international and domestic policy developments. These will include an analysis of the recent Cancun meeting, an analysis of New Zealand's ETS and its mid-year review and a close look at emerging policies in Australia.
The program will offer practical advice to help businesses meet their obligations and best manage their climate change-related risks.
Other continuing themes of the event will include the developing role of investors in climate change risk analysis, adaptation and catastrophe event management, developments within the clean tech and renewable sector and progress on energy efficiency.
